Introductory Course

Our Shiatsu Discovery weekends are ideal for anyone wanting to find out more about shiatsu.

The Shiatsu Discovery Course is a comprehensive stand alone introductory course giving simple techniques to take away with you and practice on yourself, friends and family after the weekend. The experience is relaxing, informative and very enjoyable. 



Practical and hands-on
  • Learn to give a simple full body shiatsu which you can give to friends and family.
  • How shiatsu can be used for your personal development.
  • The history and philosophical basis of shiatsu.

Upon Completion of the Course

Students will have sufficient knowledge and ability to give a full body shiatsu treatment to family and friends. Full course notes are provided.

Home Remedy Shiatsu (3 weekends)

A more in-depth course for those who have completed a Shiatsu Discovery Weekend and want to learn more about this wonderful healing form.  Shiatsu has been commonly used within the home in Japan and more recently in the West to give relaxation to family and friends and to relieve some common health problems.  In these 3 weekends you will learn:

  • How to help people de-stress and relax
  • How to relieve neck and shoulder tension and headaches
  • How to help relieve back pain
  • How to help relieve insomnia
  • How to strengthen the immune system and overall vitality
  • To give shiatsu to the Liver, Gallbladder, Bladder and Kidney meridians

You will learn many new techniques including some of the most important meridians used in shiatsu and acupuncture, today.  Some useful acupressure points and simple lifestyle and dietary changes to aid in healing.
